Another fun panel for the Dragon Con Urban Fantasy Track! This time Julie joined me! It’s the final rewatch episode of Lost Girl Revisited. We discuss season 5: Our favorite characters, favorite episodes, our thoughts on the big bads, missing Kenzi, that season finale, and so much more. Guest on… Comics Lair – Marvel’s Echo

Had a great time being a guest on Comics Lair!

“Marvel Comics introduced Echo in Daredevil #9 (1999). Television audiences first saw in the Marvel-Disney+ Hawkeye miniseries. She’s a gritty, determined character who also happens to be a deaf member of the Choctaw Nation. Join host Nancy Northcott and guests Samantha Bryant, Kyoko M., and Marx Pyle as they discuss the Echo streaming series.”

Guest on…Lost Girl Revisited, Season 4

I had a fun time being a panelist on the newest rewatch episode of Lost Girl Revisited from the Dragon Con Urban Fantasy Track. This time we chatted about season 4: Our favorite characters, favorite episodes, that one shocking scene, that one sad scene, and so much more. Feel free to watch and leave a comment about what you thought of season four.

Actual Play – Marvel Galaxies – Session One – The Coming of Galactus

Had a great time playing a very different character in the first session of Marvel Galaxies. If you like Marvel Superheroes and TTRPGs, then you should check this new series out. My character, Jace, has a great journey to look forward to. If you enjoy this show you’ll probably also like many of the other shows over on Dreamslayer Studio.

The family of The Blindfather live a solitary life on the planet of New Haven. It is the only world they have ever known. It’s been a relatively peaceful existence. Until now. Ghosts of a past they never knew existed descend upon their humble farm, and life as they know it is about to change. Will they survive their first encounter with these strangers from the stars, or will the secrets that have been kept from them for generations be their doom? Find out in the first thrilling adventure of Marvel Galaxies! Inspired by the old comic book tales of What If? and 2015’s Secret Wars saga, we embark on a journey with a tightly knit family unit thrust into a Galaxy far, far away as the secrets of the past they never knew begin to unravel. If you’re a fan of the Fantastic Four’s family dynamic, the lore of the X-Men or the adventures of The Guardians of the Galaxy, the Children of the Blindfather are sure to carve a special place in your heart as we explore Marvel Galaxies!

Guest on…Lost Girl Revisited, Season 2

I had a great time being a panelist again on Lost Girl Revisited from the Dragon Con Urban Fantasy Track. This time we chatted about season 2: Our favorite characters, favorite episodes, favorite character arcs, our thoughts on the Big Bad for the season, and so much more. Give the episode a watch and please leave a comment about what you thought of season two.

Dragon Con Urban Fantasy Track: Slayers

This was a fun Dragon Con Urban Fantasy panel about one of my favorite settings, the Buffyverse. We discussed the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer audio drama, Slayers. It was great hearing James Marsters voice back as Spike! With him and so many other returning actors (Charisma Carpenter, Anthony Head, Juliet Landau, Emma Caulfield Ford, Amber Benson, James Charles Leary, Danny Strong) it felt like a reunion. What did we love about Slayers? What did we think of a Buffyverse show in an audio drama format? What character arc did we like best? If we get a season 2, what would we love to see…I mean hear? Watch and find out.

This “scripted audio original picks up 10 years after the events of the final episode of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer.’ Since then, Spike (James Marsters) has gone deep undercover in Los Angeles, convincing the forces of darkness that he’s back to his evil ways. When his cover is compromised by sixteen-year-old Indira Nunnally (Laya DeLeon Hayes), Spike finds himself on baby-slayer-sitting duty once more. While he attempts to track down a watcher for his eager new protégé, their paths collide with the veteran Slayer of a parallel reality where Buffy Summers never existed…a reality where Cordelia Chase (Charisma Carpenter) is the one-and-only Slayer. She needs Spike’s help with a classic big bad terrorizing her world…his old flame, Drusilla (Juliet Landau).”
