Actual Play – Ozark Requiem – Part 1 – Whispers in the Dark

Nothing ignites the imagination like Tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs), so I’m always excited when I start a new Actual Play. This time we are in the post-apocalyptic Ozarks.

“Abaddon’s Descent: An Ozark Requiem is set in a post-apocalyptic world enslaved by demonic forces. Mankind is engaged in a never-ending battle against a tide of darkness that hungers for the last remnants of hope. Amidst the chaos, the heart of the Ozarks beats with a sinister rhythm.”

“We find ourselves in Silver Dollar City, a once-vibrant wild west theme park now transformed into a haven for a small group of survivors clinging to the fragile threads of their existence, daring to stand under the shadow of what they now refer to as Hell on Earth – the former entertainment capitol of the South – Branson Missouri.”

Abaddon’s Descent: An Ozark Requiem is an Everyday Heroes Horror Campaign based in a world created by the players utilizing new rules created by Dreamslayer Studios.

Actual Play – Get Charlotte Chapter One: The Crew

I have been an enthusiastic player of tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) for many years, so I’m excited anytime I’m invited to join the cast of an Actual Play. This is the first chapter of what promises to be an epic journey for my character, The Hammer, a Russian ex-boxer who is really good at smashing things. Check out Deamslayer Studios’ Get Charlotte.

“Beau Brownstone has a problem. His teenage daughter, Charlotte has been missing for three days, and a cryptic letter threatening his criminal empire has the whole family on edge. Beau scrambles to put together a Crew to Get Charlotte back. With no leads as to her whereabouts, Beau sends The Crew to an old friend, Nice Guy Eddie at an old junkyard called Monster Joe’s Truck and Tow to get the lowdown on what’s going on in the underbelly of LA’s underworld, hoping for a lead on what might have happened to Charlotte. When The Crew arrives, however, they stumble upon a robbery in progress. Will they win the day or make a mess of things?
